Welcome to the Global Education Partner Summit

GEPS is a yearly invitation-only, Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) only which took place in Redmond, WA, on the Microsoft Corporate Campus in building 33/Microsoft Conference Center. GEPS 2013 is where Education partners and Microsoft executives and product leaders discuss breakthrough solutions and identify opportunities for gaining an advantage in today's environment.

This year over 300 partners learned about the Microsoft education vision, product and program strategies, the benefits of developing apps and solutions for Windows 8 and for Office 365, licensing plans and a lot more. Watch a selection of videos from the event: Anthony Salcito Education keynote, Sal Kahn keynote, Rob Curtin keynote on Personalized Learning, and the Industry expert panel discussion.

GEPS has become an unmissable date in my diary! LP+

Thank you for a very productive week at GEPS…left Seattle even more excited at the potential of our partnership and expand our role as content/App provider to Windows Store, make our content available via PIL and SharePoint, expand our partnership to the games side of Microsoft and follow up on HTML5 App development. Thank you very much for your fine hosting at GEPS and your continued support of SharePointEduTech. It was great to meet so many welcoming people from Microsoft. I’m sure our business will benefit from the wide range of contacts I made and the continued support of the MEPN network. In particular the connections with the Office and Windows 8 Dev teams last week have already started to work out. SharePoint EduTech

Thank you for an excellent week, which has been of massive benefit to Civica and our strategies moving forward. Civica

Just a quick note to thank you for last week. I had a great conference, made some great contacts and am very much looking forward to a great year building out Microsoft solutions and opportunities. Dell

I just wanted to say a big thank you for inviting me (Mark), organising (Alessandro) and presenting (Anthony) a fantastic GEPS event. It was my first time attending and I found it extremely useful, both from the connections that I made but more so from the insight it gave me into where the world of education is going and how Microsoft are helping to deliver that future. The talks from Anthony, Sal Khan and the Research team were fascinating and the trip to Forest Ridge was a real highlight, showing how tightly integrated the technology was with the learning. I thoroughly enjoyed GEPS – I learned a lot about what Microsoft’s plans are around education and I made some good contacts, both within Microsoft and with other partners. Salford Software
